Keeping Holocaust Survivor Stories Alive for Future Generations
Carrying Holocaust Testimony is a free Holocaust education program that brings firsthand survivor testimony, family history, and historical learning directly to schools, community organizations, places of worship, and educational groups across Canada.
As fewer Holocaust survivors are able to share their experiences in person, the responsibility of preserving and sharing their stories passes to the next generation. Our presentations are delivered by children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors who grew up hearing these stories firsthand and are committed to ensuring that these important lessons are never forgotten.
All presentations include extensive firsthand testimony from Holocaust survivors delivered through video interviews.
Firsthand Survivor Testimony
Participants gain a deeper understanding of the human impact of the Holocaust while exploring themes of courage, identity, resilience, discrimination, antisemitism and remembrance.
Each presentation incorporates:
Firsthand stories passed directly from survivors to their children and grandchildren
Recorded video testimony from Holocaust survivors
